Why Boston?

Last weekend, Rira and I met up in Boston for a very special reason.

It wasn't to catch an impromptu game of chess at Harvard....

It wasn't to run into Rira's presidential hopeful...(this picture just makes me laugh)

It wasn't to see the Red Sox vs. Angels playoff game....

It wasn't to go to Little Italy and brave the insane crowds of this quaint Boston neighborhood....

Or to indulge in the famous Boston institution of cannolis, all possible baked goods and utter chaos...

But we took this whirlwind trip to see our wonderful friend Kim marry her most perfect love, William!! Kim and I go way back to 1st grade, and I was so touched to be able to celebrate with them- great times. This will be a memory to never forget. They are absolutely perfect for each other!

Us 4 Gators, together again....

I couldn't find the charger for my little old point & shoot camera, so I sucked it up and lugged around Alex's contraption. And I do have to admit it, it was fun taking photos...I even wish I took more.

Rira, Kim & me at breakfast the last day. I really enjoyed getting to know Kim's friends more, they are all quite entertaining. Oh it went by way too fast. Boston is gorgeous, I love the East Coast- why do fun trips have to end so quickly?? Congrats K & W!! For a few more photos/random details, check out Rira's post on the trip.

Hey - will you email me the pic of the 4 of us? I don't have one. Glad you had a good, quick trip. Ours was fab too. I felt sort of MIA in Boston with you guys, but our little guy just makes us not quite as portable so we figured we'd just let you and Rira enjoy yourselves without us. I'm glad we all got to go though, it was fun to see each other briefly, and I agree, it was fun meeting Kim's friends. I keep asking myself why I never knew Erin. Oh well...
