I feel like I haven't posted much of what we've been doing lately. We've been out and about- shopping in Marin and the East Bay, Olympic watching, constructing, eating, celebrating and working! Having a car is fun. Valerie's birthday was last Thursday, so a bunch of us went out to BJ's Saturday night....
We were there waaaaay too long....a bit more than 3 hours....but the pizookie was so delicious, it was worth it just for that. We got the party one that has all 4 flavors in it....oh that peanut butter cookie was way too perfect.
Here we are finally on our way out...Valerie's parents also sent her a Snickers cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory that we delved into last night....Val celebrated in style this year. Happy 24th, neighbor!
After 2 years, we finally have a "finished" living room to enjoy for these last 10 months. No, I don't know why we didn't think of it sooner. It all started with getting a wall mount for the tv at Costco. Alex came up with this brilliant idea to put shelves all around the tv instead of getting a tv stand to sit underneath. Since we're both getting more into the modern look, I was all for it. So, off to Home Depot to get all the materials and Alex went to town. Then, we dug up our curtains from storage to finish it all off. So although half the room is modern, mixed with more traditional, we love the new set-up!! One more photo....
Yes, Alex did time this picture to have on BYUTV with the SLC temple. Kind of cheesy, but that's just Alex....
